About us

The North Ledaig Caravan Park is personally run by Peter & Katy Weir along with son Tim, a family-run business established in March 1962. Although Affiliated to the Caravan Club we are also open to non-members with one area exclusively for Caravan Club members and three smaller areas for both CC members & non-members.

Pitches are almost all gravel hard-standing, although we do keep a few grass pitches for those who prefer. There are specially designated level pitches for motorhomes and we can take all sizes of motorhomes up to and including large American R.V.'s. All our pitches have magnificent seaviews, and all the front row pitches border the beach with direct access. You can enjoy our wonderful sunsets from anywhere on site.

There are two Toilet Blocks with W.C's, Showers, W.H.B and modesty cubicles. We also have a separate Disabled room which will take all forms of disabled transport  (wheelchairs & ride-on scooters)  and Parent & Baby room with bath and baby-changing facilities. There is also an information room, Full Laundrette, Dishwash & Veg preparation areas. in addition we installed a new Kamperclean machine which will empty your Thetford cassette toilet for you for the cost of £2-00. This is a new German machine, only recently available in the UK, we are only the 3rd park in Scotland to have one, and it has proved to be very popular.

Around the Park you will find a dog walk along the old railway, 1/2 mile beach frontage with the ability to walk for 1 mile along a sand/shingle beach. There is also a small nature trail along the 20 acre acre area of the moss of Achnacree. There is a also small playpark for the younger members of the family.

Please visit our prices page for a detailed breakdown of our tariffs.

Our site has been accredited a number of awards, and featured on a SKY video in 2014.
